So if you missed it, Jam Cruise 11 tickets (January 7th – 12th, 2013) went on sale May 30th. Rooms are filling up quickly but myself and a few friends were able to snag a 3 bunk room towards the bow of the Poesia. There should still be plenty of space but for the best rates I would get on it sooner than later!
If you’re not aware of what the JC experience entails – it’s a 5 day festy on a boat. There aren’t too many ways you can wrong with this event unless you hate music, sunshine, boats and hippy womens. In my opinion, one of the highlights of this experience is that essentially, cruisers will be vacationing with the bands that they love. Getting to hang at the pool deck with some of your favorite musicians and witnessing spontaneous jam sessions isn’t something that many will get to experience in one lifetime. Jam Cruise has a “jam room” toward the back of the ship, where artists from different bands can go hangout and colab with others.
So…5 Days of non-stop jams from bands like moe., Lettuce, Big Gigantic, Zoogma and Boombox (and many more) will be vibrating oceanic molecules as we cruise to the Turks & Caicos and the Bahamas.
